Started to contact the field of 3D modeling aided design, and applied it to the actual practice of the Galaxy SOHO project. It solved the practical problems such as shape finding, positioning, surface material determination, and multi-professional cooperation that plagued us in the past, and achieved good results.
Formed a BIM design team, and explored the use of parametric modeling during the design of the curtain wall of the Shanghai Center. It used research methods to find irregular shapes, merged a large number of different types of different surface materials, and engineered various types of materials. The batch automatic extraction of data has a deeper understanding and application, which further improves the application level of digital design methods in engineering practice.
Established a digital design department, and began to provide comprehensive BIM design support for related curtain wall projects. Participation in bidding and construction design for many projects have achieved good results. The BIM design has been advanced to LOD500 in the Shanghai Bund Financial Service Center curtain wall engineering practice. Further improved implementation capabilities. Participated in the first engineering construction BIM competition hosted by the China Construction Association, and won the second prize. It is the only award-winning enterprise in curtain wall.
Actively cooperated with universities, launched school-enterprise cooperation with the Digital Research Office of the School of Architecture, Hubei University of Technology, successfully organized the special winter camp activities of curtain wall BIM, and carried out special research and development on the in-depth issues of curtain wall BIM application. Participated in “Engineering Construction Technology Innovation and” Four New “Achievements Promotion and Application” thesis competition held by the Chinese People's Liberation Army Engineering Construction Association and won the first prize for outstanding papers. After the practice of many large-scale high-end complex shaped projects, the Digitalization Department currently has multi-platform and multi-method BIM design capabilities, and has trained a group of professional digital design talents.
